Fractional Economic Development Officer
Acorn Economic Development Advisors provides Fractional Economic Development Officer (FEDO) services to colleges and universities seeking to intentionally maximize and document their economic impact on the communities they serve. This service gives institutions senior-level economic development leadership without the cost or long ramp-up of a full-time hire. We work alongside presidents, provosts, advancement teams, and external affairs leaders to establish or strengthen a centralized unit responsible for aligning academic programs, research activity, real estate assets, and industry engagement around measurable community and regional outcomes.
Our FEDO model focuses on strategy, execution, measurement, and communication.
